  • Brad K: The Good, The Bad, or the Ugly?!

So, by now you have probably seen the Cup finish at Texas.

Gordon inexplicably chose the outside lane on a late restart, then went a little wide to get a better line into one and two, leaving a legends-car-sized hole. Brad Keselowski filled it up with his car, and the two made contact, resulting in Jeff having a flat.

After the race there was essentially a brawl.

BRAWL ASIDE, WHETHER YOU "LIKE" (or not) BRAD K, rate "the move" if you feel so inclined.

Please, no personal attacks on any and/or all of the drivers involved.
    33
The Good: The hole was there, rubbin' is racin', no prob
    63.64%
    21
The Bad: It was a late race move, not a clean one, but acceptable
    21.21%
    7
The Ugly: It was a dirty move, period.
    15.15%
    5

    The poll is expired.

The replay shows that he had some room below to make it clean. He just wanted to intimidate Gordon and use the tire shredder that they all were sporting this day!

The argument afterward was just that, an argument until that p---y Harvick sneaked up from behind and shoved Kezalousy towards Gordon and then Harvick ran away like the P---y that he seems to be in those situations. They probably wouldn't have come to slaps!

I really thought when Gordon had his tires changed and he came out of the pits towards Kezalousy that it was going to be just like the Cole Trickle scene in Days of Thunder. Rick must have gotten on the radio...

GP--I agree, there was additional room below Gordon, but Kes had in mind passing Jimmie on the outside. And it might have worked, too, had he not been clipped in the left rear by...Harvick.

I am not going to disagree with your point regarding Harv's after the race actions (), and I do think that if fines are levied, he should get one equal to Gordon & Keselowski.

          Best CHASE ever!!!!!

This is just what the Doctor ordered (NASCAR that is). Boys have at IT!!!!!Don't use a car to prove your manlyhood. Happy Harvick was laughing his butt off when Brad was backing away from the old "Superman Gordon" and he gave his a push. Looked like a pack of dogs attacking and junkyard cat. The fight was in all of them. HELL YAH selling newspaper. Great for the SPORT!!!! Kevin just needed his wife there if BAD Brad would of not been grabbed by Gooooooooo..............:

Bobby hit the nail on the head. Nascar will surely fine someone when in reality they should be paying all concerned, The only thing missing was Cale Donnie and Bobby. It put Nascar in the spot then and the TV audience will be one of their highest of the year for the next 2 races. If the races are not already sold out they will be. As for the poll I lean towards all of the above. For all Jeffs experience I can't for the life of me fathom his choice for outside and then go wider thinking no one would use the space. Am I a BK fan, quite the opposite as he does drive over his head to the detriment and safety of others.

Just about 20 years ago, Ernie Irvan hung his head in shame, asked for patience and forgiveness, and humbled himself in front of every driver, crew chief and officials. He went on to smoke everyone in the field on many occasions. He retired as a respected racer.

BK could use a bit of the same humility.

There's a thin line between aggressive and reckless. No matter how you see this one, there's no denying that he's pissing off all of his peers. He has talent, but not many friends right now.

But if Penske sees it the same way McClure did, he understands that it's "easier to slow a fast driver down, than it is to speed a slow racer up".

How long has people been writing on this board that NASCAR racing puts them to sleep. Watch the 1st 10 laps and watch the last 10 laps. What you are seeing are drivers in their late 30's, I think Gordon is 40 now, want to race like gentleman, they have made thier money, to much for what they do and now Brad K. comes along and is shaking things up. Good for him, he is a throw back like racing used to be. No one said nothing about 88 pushing the 14 out of the way last week for the win. Sure the 14 stayed out with bad tires and really had no chance to win so the 88 could have been a gentleman and passed him without touching him. Gordon made the wrong call sure of been on the inside and lost on the deal and could have admiited it. The ideal that Brad K. knew he was going to cut Gordon's tire is a little far fetch like the golden boy was whining about.

Everyone is looking for the hole.

With all the angles of the long lens the hole was there. Bad Brad did go for what everyone is looking for (the hole). The only thing is that if your going to go for it when the race is over don't turn you back on the one (who's view is never the same as your view) who is looking for an answer why. Brad had plenty of backup. But turning his back (on anyone) was a second slap in the face to Gordon. Brad seems to be getting a name that will come back to him "what goes around comes around ask Clint Bower (remember Phoenix). 2015 will be hard pressed to have the action we had this year. NASCAR is a contact sport!!!!

Remember who wrecked Clint and then ran and hid in the trailer while Clint came looking for him.

Darren, help me out--who was it...? Am thinking it probably wasn't Stewart, Newman, or Edwards.

If I remember, J Johnson apologized for his driving at one point.

Before he got the rings and the Rolls and so forth...
