Brad is a little old lady compared to "Big E"--starting out or any other time.

As he said, no one wrecked. Dale used to spin Geofffffffffffffffry Bodine out just to stay in practice for the other guys.

Can't remember the details, but at one point Dale was catching...someone, let's call it Jeff Gordon. One announcer pointed out that Jeff was getting loose. Andy Petri replied, "He is going to get real loose if he doesn't get out of the way of that black car".

Interestingly, I wonder how many Dale Sr. fans are upset with Brad right now...?

back when Dale sr was driving the 15 and Tim Richmond was driving the 2 for Lacy, Dale came up behind the 2 he took out Richmond and also rolled the 15 over and I beleived broke his (SR.) leg. That was in his younger days, anyone call him wreckless, etc, etc? Its all who you like. There are no rivals like there used to be. When these guys retire they are not going to hang out together, nor do the racers from the past hang out together. Gordon several years ago said that Jimmy Johnson was starting to "pi$$ him off", I thought that was a strange thing to say, because if I understand it correctly Gordon owes part of the 48. Its a business and its your job to win. Gordon is near the end of his ride.

No, Dale Sr was not "reckless"--he was very, very good at what he did.

Nor was he, as you put it, "wreckless"

I don't really watch NASCRAP but did catch the highlights on ESPN. I think B.K. is a dickhead but being that late in the race, I would have gone for that hole too. Gordon shouldn't have left it open. They're all fags.

Other than the need for enough time sell enough adds I don't know why Nascar persists in making us sit through 4/500 laps of watching cars go by for the 20 laps of real racing we enjoy. On top of that the last 20 laps are frequently enhanced by a "debris" caution to create a bunched field and some pit strategies. During long runs with no caution it is not at all unusual to see almost half the field at least one lap down. I still maintain that time trials, heats a consi and a much shorter field would be far more appealing than what we are now asked to endure.
