Phil I have been going to this track for 28 years . Not downing anything nor do I know it all but stateing the facts as they are happening in front of all our eyes. lets see how many people drive over from melbourne to watch this. I was told they had about 300 fans in the cow pastrue when they did race. They had to tail gate because the had no stands to sit in over there. I would go out if they had more classes running and depending what it will cost to get in. but its not worth the drive out for such a short program. and I thought melborune motorsports park was doing so well I was told a couple months ago they were raceing there and I didnt know what I was talking about I guess the info I had was correct.

I wish them luck for sure. If I was there, I would go at least for this show just to see what it's all about. I love grassroots style racing. Lot's of people do honestly, but it is a kind of niche group which again, is not at all a bad thing.

Think outside the norm
Why couldnt we put a two day event together and put on a big come back show for OSW. Sat. The Florida Truckers 150 starting at 2o pm along with Pro late models 175. starting after the truck race. In the parking lot in front of the track have the food truck guys come out. Get a band, meet and greet with drivers. Sun. at 1:00 Florida Mods. 175 second show will be the Super late 200. Adults 10:00 kids under 16 8:00 . You would pack the house both days.

You said you don't wanna discuss payout but I know a lot of Rockets parked em because the payout was only posted on Spacebook and not here, are you going to post here? That's not really a payout question so hopefully you can clarify.
Look. It seems like "everyone" wants to see the central Florida speed plant survive - or, better yet, come back from the dead. I only passed along (copied and pasted) information to you guys that are down there. Since a LOT of you are NOT on FaceBook, I merely passed along the information. I apologize on missing the date thing; I didn't check to see what day October 7 was.
I have *ZERO* - zip, nada - to do with the track. I have NO idea on any payouts or anything. Like I said in the first post, *CALL DONNIE* at the track if you have any comments, questions or suggestions, good or bad.

JM--Straight up, thank you for sharing the info. I am included in those that are facebookless and happy being so.
