Well if my 8th grade education serves me correctly there were 35 trucks in the state of fla that wanted to race last night, like I said it's a dam shame they couldn't of been at the same racetrack, what a great show that could of been. not that the show's that ran last night were bad, just saying they could of been better. On the bright side of thing's I was honored to receive calls from both promoters on Friday, a lot of things were explained to me, but at the end of the day hopefully things will work themselves out for both tracks, because I really think they could control short track racing on the west coast of fla, and get it back to the good old days, for all the classes, hope every one has a happy Easter

Benny that's a great question, last year at desota we were faced with the same problem for the ebr mod race, we gathered the drivers and asked them if they had a problem starting everyone, they voted and we let every one start, now some say it was to many, but it was a awesome site seeing that many cars taking the green, grant it some tracks couldn't do that but you could do the b main deal and after that throw the drivers that didn't make it a bone or two, and I'm not much of a gambling man but I would bet you a cold beer that the ones that didn't make it would prob go home and do some more work on there hotrod to make it better, because at the end of the night isn't racing all about competition and beating the best that's out there ?

YEA Buddy... that was a GREAT Call.... that was the best call of the year... better than running B Mains... run em all.... sure some grumbled that it was a caution fest.... but drivers that drove like they wanted to be there at the end did well... (can't win any race on the first lap)....without a doubt, it was the greatest race of the year...a big Thanks for the drivers that voted for that start.... showed that they weren't afraid of running with a big group of other drivers in order to put on a super show for the fans... thanks again and again.... OSFThank a Police Officer for what they do........... OSF:

I was in a race in the mid 90's where 40 of us started and 1st caution wasn't until lap 20 of 50.so it is doable.Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

Good Ole Jimmy Cope knows how to put on an interesting show....he's not afraid to think outside the box...he wants to give the fans something to remember and talk about... other tracks are somewhat afraid to do this... that's why he has the nick name "Mr. Excitment"... he will turn Desoto around... wait and see... week by week, month by month... he's the best thing that has happened to the track that was on a downward spiral for many years....AND he doesn't run it like a circus or wrestling match...(guess who - up the road)... OSFThank a Police Officer for what they do........... OSF:
