                • Stand-on-the-gasser, Jason Solwold. He lost this ride to Jac Haudenschild along the way.

                  • An early ride for Brett Hearn. Must be nice to live your entire adult life, without ever having to get a "real" job.

I believe he is now over the 500 win mark!

                    • One of the All-time greats in a Dirt Late Model, this is Billy Moyer back in 1982. Hard to believe that "Billy The Kid" has been racing almost 30 years now.

I guess since "The Kid" no longer applies, he has been known more in the last decade as "Mr. Smooth".

                      • Bobby Allison made a career out of racing anything, anytime, anywhere. Here is a shot of him in a Dirt LM.

If Hollywood ever made a movie about the life of Bobby Allison, it would come across as far to hokey to be true. Non-racing fans would never believe that one person could ever handle all of the things that he really has been through.

                            • This guy could wad-up a racecar, and it didn't matter if it was an Indy Car or a Top Fuel Dragster... but he was always near the front while he was doing it.

Not only one of the VERY few cross-overs between Ovals and Drags, how many other racers can you name that were from Hawaii?

Danny Ongias was bad-ass in his day!

                              • Local racer, Adam Bedenbaugh, was (to me at least) a huge surprise in the ULDMCS Series this year. It looks to me like he knows how to conserve tires, stay out of trouble, and often winds up in the top-5 by races end.

I predict at least a few wins next year, and possibly a Championship in the next 2-3 years.
