How about a "%" numbered car. I think Eddie Flemke is driving this car ... though I could be wrong about that.

This one (although an artist's rendition) has an unusual story. This is a Turner Brothers owned, Gary Reichert driven Supermodified... on Saturdays only. On Fridays and Sundays, it was a Vega bodied Modified (numbered 18). One year, he won the Mod 200 at Oswego with the Vega body, and finished 4th in the Oswego Classic for Supers the very next day. Owner Don Turner was also at the Reunion and I hope to see him again this year. He and brother Ray are in several "Hall's of Fame" in the Northeast for their years of fielding winning racecars on both dirt and asphalt.Last edited by Frasson118; 08-12-2008, 03:29 PM.

unusual numbers
Continuing on the theme of unusual numbers:
George Sweeting warms up his potent "X" beetle at Florida City.
Hialeah Sportsman driver Ed Hamby usually carried a "X". Here he loops his Mustang in turn 1.
The "$" driven by Frank Seeright lines up at Hollywood, along with Pee Wee Rider 94X, Jackie Ziegler 17X and Don Worth in the 05.
