Wingless Sprints Returning To Citrus County Speedway

Hey Gary and Robert, how's this thread working out for you? Just as I told Rick Bristol, you gotta keep this crap in- house guys. Once you try pleading your case on the boards it ends in tears.

And just a few weeks ago, myself & several others were praising North Florida Speedway for helping out Ocalas show.

They got all kinds of praise for working together. It wasn't about "I had the date first", it was making a better night for both fans and competitors.

And now...... back to the same old crap. Worry about yourselves first.

How would citrus moving their show help the teams that have committed to it. If you where at the first show there you may have notice teams that haven't ran in quit awhile. Most of those teams dont run with the wing shows and haven't for some time. Lets stop the bs and let's see how things work out. I wish all those teams at showtime the best but my car will be at citrus because I have commitments with my other car on other dates but that is just me. Just go support a track of your choice and let the racers race where they choose have a great weekend of races.

Your missing the point, its not really about adding more cars to Showtimes race. If Gary ran his race next week, the guys from out of state that are commited to running Showtime this weekend would run Citrus next week, thus allowing for a good show at BOTH tracks.

No sir I didn't miss the point move his race that cars are going to attend for the hope that out of towner show up and hang out till next week. Check and see how many are from out of state at show time . might surprise you not as many as predicted but that's neither here nor there. Come on out to citrus and see a good show.

Well said RDV69 Citrus committed to the sprint cars Yoyo might not mess with lower classes but look what he did to the sprinters.. @ tires $200 + fuel $70 Entry fee $150 $ pit crew $120 Gas to track $120== $660 t0 put on a show is not in my budget. We don not race to make money but hell i'll go to citrus and will at least cover my expenses.No track should dictate we have to by their tires and fuel unless it is a track that has a series Not a I'll let you know when we have a race .. Plan ahead and stick to that plan. Citrus will have a better car count you will see........

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. But the track with the highest car count doesn't win. This is about much more than the car count at one track on one night.

It's forcing me to make a choice. I'd much rather hit both tracks, instead of picking 1.

My money is being spent in St. Pete tonight.

I hope both shows are successful, but it is very likely that both WOULD have been better had they not gone head-to-head less than 100 miles apart.

By the way..... I hereby declare that I own every Tuesday next year. Details to follow, but don't schedule anything on top of my Tuesdays or I will call you out on it on here & on Facebook.

Hot News....Robert the Coke Guy (From Sunshine back in the day and Showtime now)...stated Yoyo told him that he wasn't needed this weekend because "It was gonna be SLOW"....guess Ole Yoyo knows best.....my money is on a crappy Showtime Show....which drivers gonna spend more money than they have a chance of winning back....(more than normal...crappy deal)...OSF
