I did what Don?? The talk around there was all about what you did to the track and the drivers.

I spent oll I had . lost my house and my trucks. Everything I had trying to make it work.
And I know im the bad guy...
The track is there for any of you to give it a swing.
It will come back someday.
Does any rember the dirt track there being closed for many years and look at it now

I don't have anything to do with ant tracks now and don't take it as well.
There is a dirt track just up the road from there (North Florida Speedway) on the other side of the interstate. I don't believe it was ever a dirt track, but I am probably wrong.

Right on the first sentence, wrong on the second. It started out as a dirt track and then paved. Don't know the year though.

When the Ellisville track was built, I think it was 1974, my dad raced there and it was dirt. We had 2 dirt tracks within about 7 miles of each other and it worked. One on Saturday and the other on Friday. Cars supported both tracks and all did well. It was paved in about 1988.
