Crash A Rama is a blast, and has been a huge shot in the arm for the track. Its a great way to get new people involved in our sport; they can try out some crazy racing for very little money, and some of them like it and stay at it.

I always hear how it tears up the track, well I've got thousands of laps around there, and the surface is still in fine shape. It doesn't hurt a thing! As long as the clean up is careful and complete, I think the whole Crash A Rama thing is exactly what we need.

Moe your show will get somebody hurt or killed. Sure it's a blast to watch but your negligence to safety was obvious at the last enduro when you left a driver stalled in the center of turns 3-4 with the drivers door facing oncoming cars for 4-5 laps. That was negligent and I hope it never happens again. If it does, and somebody gets hurt, no waiver will cover negligence.

I hope you have taken a better stance on safety of the drivers this year.

Anybody that gets in a car on a race track should know what could happen and after all it is there choice. Hope to see you November 29 at Orlando speedworld for all the action...

You are the ringleader of this circus of a show. You have a responsibility to ensure the safety of your performers. It's a dangerous show and you should do as much as possible to keep everyone safe. I hope you can throw a red flag if somebody is stalled in a high speed impact area and forget the show must go on attitude.

I have to respectfully disagree with myself. LOL ! Next time you are there, walk around the track and you will see all the damage. Deep cuts, missing surface, and half ass patches can be seen everywhere. It's still racy but in piss poor condition. OSW would be the best track in the state with new asphalt, or some clay.

I would never resurface it as long as crash-a-Rama is there. Busses and cars running around on rims with no tires and trailers being dragged around with no axles or tires does great harm to a race track, but it brings in enough revenue to keep the track open. Necessary evil I guess.

Boneman you are wrong sir. that track has all kinds of damage to that track because of casharama. oh I guess the cars with channel iron welded to rims draging the rear end of the car around on the track doesnt rip up the asphalt when is the last time you walked the track? I cant belive you would say the track is fine. how about at the big meeting before racing started this year the fence in turn 3 laying on the track tore down at crasharama from the last one. from what I hear most pepole who go there go just get drunk.

I was on the track a few weeks ago. It is absolutely PRISTINE compared to the pavement at 3 Palms, Citrus or the incredible surface at De Soto. That track is like driving on a plowed field.

I can understand those who are not C.A.R. fans, but I'd like to ask you a question. Is there anything that has brought more new fans to our track than this? I don't care if its only twice a year, there are thousands and thousands of tickets sold that we would not get otherwise.

Besides, its fun. I was hoping to see the "Idiot Bowl" that we were talking about a few weeks ago, but I guess that won't happen. I haven't been in a C.A.R. for 2 years, so I'm looking for a car.

I believe crash-a-Rama is part of the downfall to OSW's weekly racing program. The fans are not racing fans and they find weekly racing boring.

It would be interesting to poll people at crash-a-Rama and ask them why they don't attend weekly shows. I would bet they say, not enough crashing or racing is boring.

Those fans may be right, there have been a lot of boring races over the past few years. If a class has low participation and low competition, I don't think that C.A.R. is to blame for that.

I am still wondering if there will be an announcement today about interim management, and the remaining races this year.

I'll be surprised if we will hear anything anytime soon. The biggest drag race event of the year is this weekend. Too bad I'm out of town this weekend working or I would be there.

Because the track has been run in the ground for quite some time and some people like both racing and what we do that may shock you.

No I am not shocked at all that crasharama has ran the track in the ground.
