    Series Reply

We felt that some issues needed to be address from this past week concerning FUPS and it competitors. In response to fighting as a FUPS Member it could have been much more costly to both parties as per the FUPS Rule Book see in bold.
    f. Any competitor who participates in fights in the pit area, or on the premises; a minimum fine of $1000.00, and/or suspension, and/or loss of points, suspension and shall be escorted out by the local Law Agencies.

Since it was the 1st offense for both we only gave the minimum as per the FUPS Rule Book see in bold.
    C. Unsportsmanlike-like conduct can carry a minimum $250.00 fine and/or suspension and/or loss of points. Any and all fines will be added to the point’s fund at the end of the racing season.

Moving on to the Rookie of The Year Award, as per the wording in our rule book Randy Anderson is still in the chase for the 2013 award, car owner Don Johnston was notified today Friday 10/18 in the morning hours.
We hope this clears the rumors going around.

If a crew member from another team came to Waynes pit and started a fight, why was Wayne fined? The man has to defend himself. This is just another blemish for the FUPS series. Unfortunately it looks like the series is dying anyways.

          Questionable

If this crew came up and everything played out the same way as it did but at the end it escalates and Wayne gets hurt and goes to the hospital... Would this ruling still be in effect? If jonathon guy can't beat.. Might as well penalize them!

            the shaft

Looks like Wayne is getting the shaft. Smart move to drop out, they would have got you one way or another. And now his vendetta is being passed on to your kids. We just have two real bad apples in there right now, who are making a mockery of Florida short track racing......Vince

This will hurt FUPS in long run way more than the Andersons anyone who follows racing in Fl. knows who they are. If you were thinking about attending a race, if Wayne and his son are going to be there you know he will put on a hell of a show if they are not there some people WILL NOT GO like him or not he puts butts in the seats.

So,in NASCAR,boys will be boys, let em fight.Sure we will fine them, but we aint escoting anyone with police from a race track.Well Mr.Williams, you and FUPS do it your own way.You have now lost a top driver in Wayne Anderson.Good job by you.You obviously never heard of trying to work things out.So if FUPS dies,it dies.Amother 'good job' by you.

Hate to say I told you so about FUPS, but I told you so. I'm sure somebody will start up a SLM series that works, the Brighthouse thing looks like it's doing pretty well.

But.... the Brightbouse series is a one-track pony. I don't think they are going anywhere else with the possible exception of OSW.

Trust me Wane isent getting hurt and Rick will survive this.
                      Both need each other .
Don't blow it up bigger than it is.
Rick needs a few tracks on his deal and Wane needs a few more races in to run at.
The worst thing that chould happen is for Rick to quit and Wane to go out of
This has happened in Florida before. There were no SLM races to go to. There were 4 a year.
So If u are a fan try to support both of them and both of them will get threw this go forward.
