HMMMM......... 22 Sportsman at Citrus last night for the 75 lapper. A 50 lapper at NSS during the World Series for a decent purse would draw the same or better. I see that NSS is announcing that their 2014 schedule will be released soon. Why not pencil in a Sportsman 50 for the first Saturday night of Speedweek to have a great show with a good field, while a lot of the Northern talent are still making their way to Samsula and the Tour Mod and Late Model fields are a little light? How 'bout it Kim?

      Here you go...

OK folks, we have the final World Series schedule done and it will be posted on our website shortly. Robert's input was that he wanted to give some of our weekly racers their time to shine as well. After much thought, here is what we are going to try for 2014 along with the staple World Series divisions...Thursday Feb 20 Super Stock 50, [B[Friday Feb 21 Mini Stock 50[/B] and Saturday Feb 22 Sportsman 50.

AWESOME NEWS! On the "Big Stage" Saturday Night before the 500 too! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU TO MR. HART and KIM BROWN! We won't dissapoint, that's for sure! Now I just have to find someone willing to give my friend Woody Pitkat (2013 World Series Tour Mod Champion) a quality Sportsman ride for the night so I will have an opportunity to bang doors with him once again like we used to do at Stafford! (I'll pay for the touch up paint!)

Ya gotta love KARNAC. Some may slam it for the few that "trash-talk", but I find for the most part it is used as a thoughtful, thought provoking forum where racers, owners and fans can discuss everything we like, dislike and would like to see in our sport that no doubt, is sat back and watched closely by EVERY track owner. I'm convinced that without starting this thread on KARNAC that Mr. Hart would not have granted my wish.

And to Jerry: Hell yeah, what a weekend it's going to be! I have a friend in South Daytona that has already volunteered to put the 07 crew up for the weekend so we'll be there both nights laaaaaate (maybe even get a little practice in on friday too!)

YES, VIRGINIA, THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS!!!

There goes the TBARA again. They were originally supposed to run Sunday & Monday. The K&N coming in, I guess the Sprints were taken out.

On the flip side, another piece of news is that the PASS South Series will be running a 2-day show at New Smyrna in early February. Last season, 89 cars participated in that series, and the Northern division had something like 113.

That's nearly 200 cars that fit the rulebook, plus all the locals.... hopefully they can pull a nice field for this event. The one event they put on about 4 years ago was excellent, and was disappointed they hadn't come back since.
