Stewart not only was a F-1 World Champion and a great broadcaster, but a writer as well... He penned an incredible two-part article for Auto Racing magazine in the early '70s in which he examined how F-1 racing could be made safer, going track by track and showing what needed to be done to improve both driver and fan safety...

I can remember befor he got to Ca$hcar, he was a crash-bang rough rider in the Northern Open Wheel Modified Circut, don'cha just love it when he dumps on others for driving just like he did? How many times did he ram into Sr. after a race , because it was the only time he could catch him. Not many ever said anything because he was a big physical guy who had a rep. for enjoying fistecuffs after a race.
