IMHO, names that contain the city or highway are booooring.

I would consider a Motorsports Park a facility where various motorsports events take place. On one property.Ie: drag racing .. Mud bogging.. Motor cross .. That being said I would reference as a speedway. Just my opinion

Club (Corvette, Mustang, MoPar, etc...)
Drifting Events
Motorcycle Poker Runs
Swamp Buggies
Air Boats

Pirates cove raceway sounds like a min golf/go cart track in Orlando. You need something tied in with racing or going fast. For instance Rev Limiter Raceway or No limit speedway

Jack must be laughing his ass off with the kind of excitement just asking people what they thought about renaming his favorite track. How about the "Jack Smith Memorial Speedway" he worked his ass off trying to keep it open many times.
