What grinds my gears

Any good driver can find a way to be competitive a great driver can find a way to win in any car. I have more respect for Jason Boyd (as a driver) because even though 99% of racing dislike him he can make any car a winning car. And he never brown nosed anyone for anything as far as getting a ride. He could easily be in and winning this all star race on right now. It's the guys who run in a lower class acting like they are the best drivers around but can't wipe with both hands in anything above where they are. For the Record Dick Anderson is the man.

you know what really Grinds my gears?? The drivers who have the money behind them to advance up in racing, yet stay down a class to be a champion. To that I ask Champion or Chump? I understand a weekly racing series is "for fun" but what fun is competing against no competition? that's like saying you won the Gold at the Special Olympics...

A smart driver with a plan will win championships for his resume...ok by me.

That's a terrible analogy regarding the special Olympics...those that compete in the special Olympics, and win gold... are wonderful individuals...

Have you ever competed with those odds?

It's a wonderful accomplishment...shame on you.

No tunaman here... And while I'm on here let me just say Rich Clouser deserves to be in a cup car. Great driver and person. If I would have hit that lotto that would happen the next day.

Too Funk To Drunk isn't the coolest name I've ever seen around these internets. But I guess u can hang. The coolest I think I ever saw was DancesWithLappers.

Dejavu, all over again?

There are 4 tracks here in fl. within 2 hrs. drive from me, all 4 run on sat. nights, some with same or similar classes, all with real low car counts, very little advertising and poor web sites. Yrs. back in N.J. I had 5 tracks within 2 hrs. drive and only 3 of them ran Sat. night, 1 on fri. and Sun. and 1 on Sun. all the pits were filled with quality Mods and Sportsmen. 1 made you move up to Mod. if you won a number of Spts. races, where they paid very well. I can see things slipping away here now, they all seem to think they are the answer to all racing, and they all have virtually empty stands.

My user name is awesome. And this thread is not an argument it's a statement that sticking around lower classes to win is dumb. It's about like coming on here and bashing Dick Anderson knowing he never goes on here..
