Everyone moved on from this thread a while back Rick, you should too. To think it all started with poor Williston19 just asking where the race results were.
WE'VE MOVED!!!

It's really too bad that lost in all this B.S. was that the event was great with good car counts and an awesome crowd. At least everyone that actually went had a great night! People should remember that just about everyone involved in putting on a show like this (Racers, Crews, Officials and Track Employees) either lose money or make very little money for their hard work and effort. We all do this because we LOVE it and (just like everyone else in this world) we are far from perfect. I don't think any track owners are getting rich either...

thanks to all who have and continue to support teresa and i at auburndale...yall motivate me to work longer, harder and smarter every day..rick,scott,amf and everyone that has posted with support and called me today i cant say thanks enough..i will continue to promote auburndale speedway to achieve the best results possible..we are very encouraged by the support we have received from race fans, sponsors ,racers, crew members and ownership...every time i hear a negative comment,it just drives me harder to make auburndale the best place possible to enjoy on any given night..good luck to all in 2013!!! thanks tp

Sorry guy's that I couldn't find results. Never looked there. Never have. Now I know. In support of Tim, I am getting into circle track racing after many years of drag racing. Tim used to run one of the best Sat. night shows in Georgia at Albany Dragway. We would run a SouthEast Supergas Assoc. race there and we would have as many as 2,000 people there on a Sat. night and that place didn't hold that many in the stands. He is a hell of a promoter and has been around a long time. If you support Auburndale he is your man. Hang in there Tim. Do what you do best.

Rick.... you are REALLY a piece of work.
First off, I've NEVER said "if you want to know the results you should've gone to the race" (or similar wording). I'm a life-long reader of results, and your crazy to think someone could make it to every race they have an interest in. Post race results should be posted by any track/series that has any kind of professionalism to them.
Secondly, I have never once said that I wanted anything other than success for this series. I loved the old Southern Sportsman Series, and followed them all over. I'd love to again. The same for Modifieds. The Trucks, to me, rarely put on a very entertaining show, but I do get surprised on occasion.
My plans changed at the last minute, but I had every intention of supporting this show. I might still go see a few, just to piss you off.
But if this is the way the 'public relations' part of this series works, you'll go down the tubes as all the others have.
I was never negative about this series. I was never negative about the show. I just think that you and Tim showed very poor judgement in jumping down the throats of people asking questions. In fact, if you look back to the top it wasn't even MATT that asked.... it was Williston19. You started right off accusing the wrong person. Geniuses....
Somehow, EZ managed to post the answers that your group didn't bother to do. All it would've taken is a link, a point in the right direction, a helping hand. You chose to flip out instead.
Try, just a little, to get over yourself....

I am a piece of work ? Wow !
Frass I defended someone it was not about me, I tried to tell you it was not me and Tim that were part of the series. He is the track announcer and marketing, Carol posts the results for the speedway and in this case since it is the Promoters series the tracks posting results would fit. You jumped into the conversation and you have made negative comments and you may want to try to go back to past years archives, you have said that before. Regardless the results were out in a timely matter, that is the facts and it was not Tim's issue to have to get beat up over.
So he nor I will got down the tubes, and the FUPS series will do fine with or without you and Matt's negativity !
Final statement on the issue, and no one is a winner in this kind of situation.Rick Bristol

Nobody, including myself, Matt, or Williston EVER called out Mr. Pafford. I've never heard of him, didn't know he had anything to do with the track or series... it was TIM that immediately started the attacks, and you jumped right into it.
You are correct about one thing, and one thing only... I did say you were the Truck series director, when I hadn't heard anything about that not being the case any longer. You were directly involved for at least 2 (?) years, and didn't know you weren't anymore. It's not like I made shit up on the spot, I just missed the 'resignation' announcement.
And PLEASE, show me a post that I made chastising anyone for asking about results from a show that they didn't/couldn't make it to. Several times now I have sat in the stands, typing out real-time updates for fans that weren't there. That's what 'constructive' people do... try to inform those that are interested. You chew peoples asses, and accuse ME of being negative. Take a good look in mirror, or better yet, re-read what was actually said, and if you can honestly say you had every right to say what you've been saying..... it's a GREAT thing you are no longer involved. Maybe it WILL stand a chance without you. Just because you occasionally wear a white collar does not make you a better man than the rest.....

I know I have NO IDEA of whos barking at each other or even whats its about as most things like this have some deeper roots BUT I can say I was there and trying to race. had nothing but clutch issues, distributor issues and just plain issue after issue which is very uncharacteristic of us but we also , in 25 years, have never had a good opening night so no big shocker for us & we will be much better the next event I am very confident and sure of that. we busted our tails for the entire week to just make it. could not get the car lettered or totally doen but done enough to go. All the work we did held up and the issues we had were unforseen....
anyways, my point is, I felt the deal went very well. The officials seemed to treat everyone the same broken rules or not, the racing was pretty good and YES, the Sportsman race was a mess for sure but that cannot be laid on the officials as from my view, it was a ton of poor decisions and bad moves on drivers parts. I definately hope that part improves & I am sure it will but the series itself seems to be a very nice deal with plenty of cars. Just hope we keep them numbers & grow as we go on. As a driver from Michigan who just moved here, I can say the tire, fuel, entry fee, pad rental fee & expenses blew me away but I have been told thats the same anywhere you go down here so is what it is. You have a choice of yeah or nay & we enjoyed it enough to say we will be there for the next event & the rest of the series for sure.
