Jerry I'll leave you with this. I am in no way perfect nor do I try to be. I am not a bible thumper and I do not possess the biblical knowledge to challenge arguments for or against any particular religion. What I do believe is there is a heaven and a hell. I live my life by one particular bible verse.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Christmas is a celebration of Christ. If somebody does not believe, what gives them the right to take away or change the meaning of Christmas. If they don't believe, then don't celebrate Christmas, or celebrate it in their own way. Our country is based on religious freedoms. I believe in this right and support everyones right to choose any religion they so choose or their right to not support any religious beliefs.

Merry Christmas Jerry, however you choose to celebrate.

That last paragraph is basically what I'm talking about. Christmas means different things to different people, and to me, it's all about the sharing of love and peace... not about who they pray to (or not) at the end of the day.

It all comes down to good and evil. Good people come from all walks of life, from every corner of the globe.... and so do evil people. The world is full of GREAT people that happen to have a different faith than others do. There are also a lot of EVIL people in this world that hide behind their religion to portay themselves as good, upstanding, even when they are not. Take a good look at the Televangelism business as an example.

Your religious choice isn't the defining line between right and wrong... your CHARACTER is what decides. Believe me, I'd much rather be hanging with Osmosis Jones than Jim Bakker.

If there is a heaven and hell, my character and conduct of my life should get me in the good room. If I don't, just because I don't follow organized religion, then I don't WANT to be in the room filled with evil people that just happened to "believe" the right way.

For those of you that want to "fix" others, take a good look in the mirror first and see if your next lecture should be to the person you see, rather than looking for someone else to "fix".
