I use to go to the races at Riverside quite often on Tuesdays for the jalopy races with my dad. I was a little squirt back then Very good racing with many of the drivers being the same ones who raced at West Haven Speedway (Savin Rock) on Saturday nights. There were a lot of great drivers who moved up to become quite successful modified drivers. Names that come to mind are Bill Greco, Dan Galullo, Lou Carangelo, Charlie Centinaro, Danny Gaudiosi, Johnny Cambino, Lou Toro, Jimmy Cash, Jap Membrino, and Tony Mordino to name some of the really prominent drivers.
Johnny Cambino used to be called "King Cambo" so I'll go with him as "Jalopy King". If you are talking about original, it may have been before my time and I'd never be able to guess.
As for "The Flinestone Flyer" that was none other than Mike Duval who was quite the terror in dirt late model racing in his day with the F-1. He traveled just about everywhere and won just about everywhere.
