If the car count doesn't improve, there IS no series. This is gonna take a lot of work on both sides of the fence to fix.

Any track around can pull at least a 10 car field all on their own... why would a Promoter pay for a series that doesn't bring anything more than they could bring on their own???
you've hit the real question right on the head. Any relationship which thrives is "mutually beneficial". Right now this series although it's a nice - desired concept, isn't functioning as needed.
hopefully, everyone with something to gain in the series will give a little more effort, so all can benefit.

asphalt racing has been introuble for a while the sad part there is no end insight. the majority of the fans have switched to dirt although even some dirt tracks are struggling. but last week at ocala they had 130 cars and the stands were packed so somebody is doing something right...

Dirt tracks over there in that area is a way of life. No one is gonna drag all the way to Orlando if it was dirt. Besides it costs a lot of time and money to keep up a dirt track And, Well we won't go there.

Bubba does a good job of getting the hype/sensationalism/etc. in front of the fans and keeps the driver's coming. He is a good promotor for getting cars and fans to the track.
