I agree. Plus if I have to watch one more commercial with his dopey lipstick face walking down the track selling something I will quit watching this BS. Thank GOD for DVR/TEVO and the ability to skip his stupid commercials..

As for the #24 and #48 wrecking......

The only thing better would have been kevin "my wife wears the pants" harvick getting wrecked too.

    Stewart Hass Racing rules.

The only two people who have any reason to be upset with David, are Jeff and Jimmie. The yellow cost one of them the win, what happen after that was unrelated to the yellow brought out by David.

So Bowyer dive bombs into one and takes out the leaders and then bad mouths David, totally unrelated to his moronic move, real classey ASSHOLE.

So you are saying Bowyer with his new tires hooked up should of followed the two gay guys as they spun their old tires trying to get some bite. I can tell you never drove a race car, at least not a round D round car

So, Boyer's a non-driving sob! huh, he leaves rcr (a very good team) goes to mwr (a not so great team) and has run up front every week. rudy gets fired (from the same ride) cause HE is a non- driving sob. Boyer " dive bombs" Gordon on the restart(because he has new tires and Gordon does'nt) and Gordon pinches him to the bottom cause thats all he CAN do and they all wreck! Not a Boyer fan but you can't argue with facts.

thing is... he wrecked everybody doing it.. if he would have made it threw he would like a hero... theres room on the straights for that but there was no room in the corner... imo.. he was hoping for the best , but knew it wasnt gonna work..its called racing! 2nd sucks.. i would havetried it too! he made it more interesting anyhow!

That allowed Stewart to get the Lucky Dog, and eventually finish 7th.

What are the odds??? Seems very odd to me. I would think someone in the Nascar media would write a story about this, even if there's nothing to it.

If you will notice in this video at 11:28 into the replay of the re-start, Boyer and Newman had decided to go low at the same instent. Newman bumped Boyer and backed off making Boyer a little loose going low in the turn......then contact with Gordon. Boyer was faster and went low to pass as any racer going for the win would do.... but he had a little push from Newman into this situation. Also note that Boyer never went below the line in the attempt to pass. A racing incident in my book...... JMHO

RIP Jack Smith and Kim Brown. Many thanks for all you have done for our sport.

Changed my opinion on Boyers move. He had the tires.

Boyer blaming Rooty for causing him to go three wide for the win was chicken shizz. If he would have pulled it off he would have been thanking him. If Rooty did not stall on the track Boyer never would have had a shot. Boyer get over it and take responsibility for trying to win the race, thats all your guilty of and Gordon would have done the same thing.

I thought the real thing of beauty was that once Gordon was turned - he made damn sure Bowyer wasnt getting away.

                          You noticed that, too, huh?

IF - and I mean IF - Bowyer knew he had better tires than either the 24 or the 48, he should've let 'em go on that restart. He had two whole laps to get around 'em both - not just plain ol' DIVE BOMB into turn one on the green flag of the restart.

I'm a Tony fan - and a Reutimann fan. David sure looked bad after all that. I didn't understand *why* NASCAR called him into the hauler. He didn't do anything *illegal*; he got black-flagged and was *trying* to get the car to pit road after that mess - and then it just up and quit. Hope NA$CAR does the right thing and does take a look at that motor/computer and see what happened.

And, I, too, hate this "Top 35" crap. Although, now, Danica'll have to *qualify* the car (I did see that the 10 car is sitting 36th in points, correct?). Take the 43 fastest cars in time trials, invert the top twenty - or even thirty - and make a race out of it.

Boyer backs off on the restart Newman would just go by HIM to the lead! He was pushing Boyer as it was. Rudy was wrong! plain and simple! That car was 66 laps down and wasn't able to keep up for the last 75 laps. As the driver, it's you're call when to give up and park it if you know the car is unsafe or could put the leaders in jepoardy, reguardless of what the crew chief or car owner says. You have to race with those other guy's all season, they don't forget when you make a bonehead move like that! Excuses are like asses, everybody's got one...

                              10 car

the 10 car did what he did to keep his points... no one said nothing when kasey kayne brought his car back out on the track to gain points.. he caused a caution also when he blew up that chevy,,

You actually think the driver gets to make strategic decisions like when to stay out and ride around for owners points (or not to).....you crack me up, man.
