Giving the finger wasn't the brightest thing he could have done by any means. I don't think the punishment fits the crime but thats either here nor there.

My whole problem with Ricky lies with him repeatably insulting this driver and his car. The tire situation was just the icing on the cake.

Boy if i threw someone out every time they shot be a bird or called me a bad name there would be noone left to race. at one time or another everyone will have a dispute with a offical and the racer and the offical must learn how to let it go for the good of the sport.
Now rember Ricky is the kind of offical you all wanted and from what i can see he does go buy the rules..all of them..You dont get just the ones you like you get all of them.
Fritz was my hero teq man and if you shot him a bird you would have to go out side and talk to the old guy..be carefull what you wish for. I rember when he cut the tires of a racecar when he found them wrong..What a night that was..

after post qualifinging for the front fender / nose length ?? chances
are they where using the same body panels all week

This happened on FRIDAY when that rule was not in effect. Instead, the tech inspector made an arbitrary judgement and sent a competitor to the back of the line-up. This driver, who had put up with a weeks worth of agitation from this inspector, reacted in anger and frustration with a school yard insult that has been part of this sport since the days of Barney Oldfield. He was ordered to load it up.

Is that the role of the tech inspector?

Michael is not a whiner, and he's not a trouble-maker. This guy is the ultimate grass roots racer who does his own work, and who saves and sacrifices just to race.

I know this is not how the track wants to treat the local competitors. This was a mistake and it is wrong to let this mess fester. Call the guy and make things right.

I am not sure if its possible that you can comprehend this complaint. It absolutely has nothing to do with his tech abilities, no complaints there. This is about personal snide comments towards a driver and his car. NOTHING ELSE

I think that is where part of the problem was, not all of the teams were there all week. I believe at least one of these teams had just arrived for the end of the week races.

everyone is going to think he is a ass for years now the track let people go on stuff and now you got a tech trying to even out the playing feild and go by the rules and sticking to them that is a good tech man and thats his job is to make sure these car are by the rule good job ricky
