I agree Hornaday had a role in this and paid dearly. The bigger issue to me is Kyles lack of consideration for safety and conditions for others. This type of violence during a yellow (when drivers can relax a little) and his actions with Harvicks unattended car on pit road demonstrate a total lack of judgement and self control. I for one vote for either a public spanking in Victory Circle or a banisment to Bandoleros for a month.

I defenitly wouldn't want a saftey worker or anyone else get hurt but you have to agree that the wrecks that happen on pit road after a race(like bush did to harvicks car) are way more dangerous than what we saw Friday.even though the caution was out they were still close to top speed and no safety worker in sight

From what I heard on the radio yesterday, Kyle will be able to start the car, they're gonna put Michael McDowell in with a driver change under the first caution (or whatever).

Kyle should've been sat down for these last three races and on probation for the entire season next year.

lets see jeff burton took out gordon under caution last year at texas nothing done to him. Hornaday takes out martin at charlotte and wins the race race nothing done here takes out sauter takes out everyone. Ernhart sr. hit anything that moved and nothing was ever done. Bush did right hit him and pay maybe hornaday will think next time. and some of the florida driver that play bump and run should remember what could happen to them when they wreck people.

dd38, I proudly support any racer racing at the local level and by all means SLM racing is my favorite class. I DO NOT support NASCAR or its drivers unless they give back to local racing. NASCAR has taken everything good and exciting about racing and turned it into a hollywood script.

I understand the under caution arguement. Can anyone tell me while under caution the wreck happened at 130mph? Perhaps Hornaday knew Kyle was gonna come after him? Kyle did have to run him down.

I don't know how any can defend Kyle's actions last night. I was at the truck race and was listening to Kyle on the scanner. Obviously Hornaday drove in there and made a mistake. Both trucks had minimal damage, Hornaday actually had more. Either driver could/should have lifted on lap 15. But Kyle is a worthless no respecting idiot. He has never had to worry about his equipment destroying it his whole career. Everyone comparing him to Earnhardt Sr. or others in the past, in the past he would have had the crap beat out of him multiple times instead of running his mouth and ruining equipment. He is one of the most talented but he is a disrespectful punk who really does need the crap beat out of him and I am glad NASCAR actually did something. I really hope Gibbs gets him under control or fires him.

According to Jayski he is out today also just like yesterday. And they are not done yet. They may be more to come (fines, out for remainder of the season). M&M Mars don't sound real positive in their statement. Hummmm.

Kyle is the only thing in NASCAR that is NOT predictable. If he needs a beat down stay out of the way and let the drivers handle it. BUT LET THEM RACE!!!

Well I don't know about fixing a wrecked car. I do know when he ran his SLM at USA International Speedway a few years ago he was working not only on his car but also helping out David Stremme.

I was gonna say the same thing DeMan......he is the real deal.....saw him swapping wrenches with the rest of his crew to change the motor, and then watched him spank them in the race at Lakeland......period.....

Sorry sideways, i agree what Kyle did was wrong but Hornaday was the one that came up the middle, Hornaday made it 3 wide not Kyle. But I agree, it was stupid. Again, they both got what they disserved. And like I say, I like them both.
