    Tony?

ANYONE who deliberately crashes into someone doing 150 MPH in a caution should be suspended for a time and fined...INCLUDING Tony! it is dangerous and shows immaturity at its highest which isnt acceptable in such a dangerous sport. Hornady isnt my favorite but it would be devastating if he had been killed or seriously injured. Kyle is overdue. if im not mistaken isnt he already on probation? what was he thinking? he was finally getting fans because the guy can race a car! dumb move...

Carol, I really meant nothing against Tony. But as I typed it I thought about you. But I agree with you. Of coarse then again anytime I post theres always someone ready to jump me. Anyhow Carol, have a nice day.

wasnt chastising you ... was just making a point about how I feel.. ;-) thats one of the things that irks me about racing. its who ya are that determines the rules. should be the same for everyone...

I never hated him like some do but what respect I had for him is gone. Maybe the 3 wide going into the corner was a bad move but hornaday had a fender out in front going into the corner from what I was watching. I don't think he will be parked for the cup race.

He should be parked for the rest of the year, in ALL 3 series and fined at least the amount it costs to replace harvicks truck! That should include labor hours to build it. And Gibbs ought to fire him!

Sounds Like Mixed Messages to Me

I preface this by saying I AM a Kyle Busch fan. Vickers hit everything but the ambulance last week at Martinsville, and no penalties. I can't count how many "retaliations" happened after the cautions there. Edwards wrecked Keselowski at about 190mph at Dega and almost killed him and sent debris all over including the stands, which I consider MUCH worse than tearing up Hornaday's truck under caution at Texas. Hornaday has torn up more race cars than almost any other driver out there, but when he, or Bodine, or Jr or Stewart or Harvick does it, it's funny, or it's "you better not mess with that guy". Tearing peoples stuff up has been happening since the beginning of racing, and happens EVERY SINGLE race. I do agree it was stupid HOW he did it....should have waited till later in the race and made it look like an accident, or maybe waited until the last race. I guarantee Bill France, Sr. would have made sure Kyle was on the track for Sunday's race...rating would have been through the roof!!!!!

I guess NASCAR found their kiwis and parked him for the weekend. Amazing! I wonder if Joe Gibbs will add to it in his own way. Run the race distance on foot. Just an idea.

Scott we always have thought alike...

How about NASCAR and everyone else stay the hell out of it and maybe racing will go back to what it used to be and the racers will work it out themselves. Maybe people will start buying tickets and watching the races to see it. Maybe Kyle was over the top but it made people watch that quit some time ago. Now the reason they tuned in to watch is sitting in the pits..... GREAT PROMOTING!!!!!

Racing is an adrinaline(?) sport. $hit happens. People get crazy and things get torn up. Who can justify the difference between a green or yellow flag? To allow racers to be penalized by law enforcement I think is crazy. If that be the case, I guess one indy driver up for murder, 13 accomplices as well as the indy racing league in the death of Dan Wheldon? Anyone really want to go there?

This is the entertainment business. They all sign on the same dotted line acknowledging they understand what could happen. LET THEM BE RACERS!!! They didn't punish Kyle, they saved him. WHY??? We WANT to see the retaliation!!!! I guess they couldn't script this one.....

                        As always JMO....
You can educate the ignorant......but you cant fix stupid

                          as usual!

Tim all that is a very good point also!! Now I don't really k'now how to feel!! But you have a very valid point. Oh Scotty, I probably shouldnt admit it but I'm a fan of Kyle Busch too. I guarantee without NASCAR the drivers would take care if it themselves.

what was it, lap 15 or something like that? Kinda early to say he was getting beat.
