Say what you wish about Kyle(no i am not a fan),but as far as Nascar is concerned I would think his racing priveleges are quite safe. After all Jim France never was pulled from racing. I am sure Shane Hmiel and Jamie McMurray are happy for Mr. France as well.

Why didnt anyone make a big deal about Tony Stewart getting a ticket in Daytona? Yrs ago I personally saw Bill Elliotts dually racing with another drivers Dually, I thought it was cool. OJ, let me know when I catch "her"

It's often reported when a driver gets a ticket. There have been big deals made of situations before. I think what makes this a little more than ordinary is the exceptional speed. Going 125 mph on an interstate is quite different than doing 128 mph on a residential 2 lane road. Seriously Tuna, you have to admit that. I don't believe Kyle's been treated differently yet. What is to be determined is what his punishment will be, in comparison to what yours might be if you were in the same situation. I don't believe it will affect his Nascar job, unless he's thrown in jail for a while.

Did not know that, guess I'll just drive over 100 in FL. Reminds me of Rob Moroso accident, he was drunk, died and killed 2 or 3 other people.

I agree. But I believe some think he was let off easy, I don't see it. sounds like he was given the full extent of the law. Was the extent of the law enough for the speed? Benny, the article said because he was a local resident he was not arrested and required to post bail. The reason I would of been arrested would be to post bail money to guarantee the state gets their fine money. Again, the law is the law, so far it has been followed. After all, he's so used to going faster than anyone else he probably didn't realize how fast he was going!!

Well....they are/were both NAPPYCAR rising stars that people loved to either cheer or hate and who were both driving excessively fast and reckless with less than optimal results.

A fatal drunk driving accident vs a speeding ticket where nobody was impaired, scratched or innocently involved...yep. I guess both cars had four wheels, that's "in common" also.

BTW, I can't think of too many that didn't like Rob Moroso.
