pursuit racing is or was fun to watch. Years ago, at Canfield and Sharon Speedways in Ohio they would do both classes, only 2 classes and they would have to run consi races in both classes, tells you how far we haven't come in racing. However, there would be 10 cars in these 10 lap races. Number of cars could make a different. I can rememeber Tommy Jarrett starting in the back and winning a lot of these. Take alook at Sharon Speedway web site. Every other weekend they run Fri and Sat nites. and they do it in a smart way.

        Don't feel bad....

It's just been done a few times already....probably before you got on board, Jim....and, yes, most of the topics you bring up are pretty much echoed by the majority of us on here as we'd all like to see some of the things we enjoyed from racing's heydays. It's just none of us have been able to invent a time machine yet. (which I'm sure if I'd had the second order of business would have involved lottery tickets somehow....the first order, of course, being to have blocked Darth Wicks from the beginning)

Anyways, it was a good post and usually makes for a great compounding thread. I guess just nobody wanting to beat on that particular drum again...of course, sometimes it just takes getting a post back there to the top of the list and getting somebody to respond to it and then the discussion busts a move in a whole new direction.

        So....we'll see what happens now.
