The only difference is the motor. E mods have a smaller motor and less hp, therefore, less expensive. Thus the name, "Economy Modified". It's basically a Super Stock motor in a modified chassis. That's my understanding anyway.

500 lift hyd.cam, 4412 carb, open chamber head, 2500 lbs. The only difference between them is the engine rule. Throw a 4 barrel on it and run full mod, although the engine will not be competitive.

You can run headers on the superstock or 602 crate. The superstock engine can also have an Edelbrock 2101 aluminum intake with an additional 25 lbs. MSD's also allowed on either engine.

              So

let me get this rite.... Its a 2 barrel rule and you can run headers??
As long as its a crate or stocker. I run a mod now and just want to no were i can run legally in the E mod without changing anything but my motor. I have a legal sportsman motor. Would be nice to just swap and race.. Never been to new symrna...lake city or oss and dont have a monster motor to run with regular mods ....at least i dont think so?

You never know if do/don't have enough engine. There has been a modified from Auburndale that comes to Speedworld on both E-Mod and Open nite and he has been kicking everyone'e butt in the Open class with a 602 and changing to a 4 barrell.

Doug, you can be 82 inches wide, not the normal 78. You get the weight break and 2% more left side with the crate and e mod engine but you cant run a Brinn or other style trannys like Citrus allows. The body templates are like the old Sunshine rules, less rake in the roof, no big sail panels etc. I think if I went over there they would tell me to load it back up. LOL

                      No problem.

E-mods cause a lot of whining from the owners of the FASCAR OWM racers, because the E-mods "are so slow".

FASCAR OWM cause the fans to snore because there are never enough of them, and the same two cars always win.

Josh has a 604 that he runs at Auburndale and Speedworld, and a 602 that he was running E Mod with. Superstock engines are L2256 pistons, stock rods, stock cranks, and 500 lift hry. cams. Close to what the Gulf
Coast mods were but without closed chamber heads, 70cc min. 25 lbs for 2101 intake. Stock rockers and 4412carb.

                          Still confused

LOL........wider??? 58% left side.....stock rockers?not 1.5 rollers??? Just wanted to slap a motor in and beat the two that boneman was talking about without re building my car. Can i run the wrap around headers that i have on my car???? Do the crates run a 2 barrel also??? Body template???? Hell may as well take my restrictors out and see what happens. Anybody know a starting gear ratio for these tracks???

                              Thanks jimmy

All i really want is the opportunity to race at the three fascar tracks. Especially new symrna. Been told you need a ton of motor to be competitave. So thats when the E mod thing came to mind. Think I will just let my motor breathe and see how i do. Lol next question.............Are there differences in rules between fascar mods and a citrus,desoto,p.g. mod???
