Oh, what does have me driving or not have to do with anything? Were YOU driving? Thats another big problem with local short track racing, you racers don't want us fans or FORMER sponsors to voice our opinion on anything, at least thats true with lots of you. You and management want us to come drop $10 - $20 on admission, another on concessions, and just sit there and say nothing. I bet the night a couple yrs ago when I sponsored a strictly race I was your hero. How many others have sponsored one so the strictly drivers could get a LITTLE pay back. Now I guess anyone can run a strictly car, unbelievable. You need to remember, most of us fans are not totally ignorant.

oh I want to address you comment on fans droping 10.00 20.00 to come and see a show . I dont know about my fellow racers but when
I go home at the end of night of raceing I am about 200.00 / 700.00 if I have to buy tires in the hole trying to help put on a show that you are complaining about paying 10.00/20.00 it dosent matter if there is only 2 or 20 cars thats what it cost me

The cost isn't that great. It's a lot of setup time to get it right which most drivers don't want to spend on the car is all.

So you're saying you should get special breaks?? Big deal, if you don't like it stay home, like I do! Most of you can't afford it so I guess you're braging about all the money you lose? I really do feel bad for you, butyoure the ones with the hobby, not me. No, I don't own a car but I used to help a lot of you but as soon as most of you can't see a $100 bill sticking out of our pocket you want nothing more to do with us.
Remember, every time someone gets a special break, intentional or not, someone else gets screwed. Ask3/4 of everyone why they no longer race and that is the answer you will get.
Oh, it doesn't matter 2 or 20 cars? One difference is I for one of the many ain't going to sit there and watch foolishness like that, and I ain't contributing either, since jdont have a car. So have fun, I really mean that!

                    OK Tunabreath,

The problem here is everybody thinks they've got the whole story, which of course usually nobody does. If you think Chad has ever gotten "breaks", you need to spend more of your precious money and visit the pits. If the other racers were teched HALF as thoroughly as Chad, most of the field would be thrown out. We've been blackflagged for actions of others, DQ'ed more than I can remember on BS fine print mistakes and last minute rule changes. Even once for driving past the scales, then backing up to go through: nope, passed the scales = DQ. All in the name of avoiding "favoritism". I bet Nerone can chime in on that (Sunbelt days).

Just to avoid the assumed special treatment, we went ASA racing to get a fair shake. We got teched pretty hard, but no worse than everybody else. Obviously, ASA didn't work out long term, so here we are supporting the local tracks with multiple cars covering almost each class.

If Chad was wrong, hey that's how it goes. No intent to cheat or get an advantage, probably trying to recycle an old part that just didn't fit the rule.

Like you said, you don't know him or Randy, so it takes a real big man to get on here and drag somebody through the mud. Especially when probably almost every racer at Speedworld and NSS could tell you specifically how Chad has helped them at one time or another.

Make sure you get the facts straight before you spill your chum...

                      Tunaman,
If you do not support racing anymore why do you even get on here to criticize people and run them down?
I am trying to figure out how Mike Amato got oil on his windshield? If I can remember right he was no where around Chad Pierce or Bobby Holley that night because the 3rd place car was a good distance back when the car started smoking with only a few laps to go. Bobby told me that there was no oil on his car anywhere from our car. I just think that it is odd for Mike to have it on his windshield especially when it was Chad and Bobby changing 1st and 2nd place positions. The only thing Bobby said was that he thought Chad had burnt the paint off his car and was laughing about it. Did you see oil on Mike’s windshield? Our car was stopped by tech and checked. They Ok’ed us to continue because it was nothing there. The drip was so small that the oil had burnt off as soon as it hit the manifold and looked worse than it was. We only lost a couple of ounces of oil. How did we know? We pulled the dipstick and checked. There was no oil underneath the car either.
As for Chad getting away with more than the other drivers is absolutely not true at all. He gets tech’ed real hard compared to others. Personally I do not think it is fair to him. They checked his clutch last night and it was illegal because it had aluminum parts. Did they continue to check the 2nd and 3rd place car? I do not believe they did because I did not see them looking at the other cars. Does that sound like favoritism? You said you do not know Chad. If I were you I would make it a point to meet him and talk to him. Chad is one of the nicest people that I have every meet. He is generally friendly to anyone he meets. Chad is one of the best and cleanest racer’s that I have ever met. It’s a shame that higher up people in NASCAR have not seen his driving talents. IMHO for the future the tech needs to check everyone for the same equipment before they declare a winner.
You bitch about the gate prices but say you have sponsored cars before? If you have rolled out money for sponsorship then $10-$20 should not be a big deal for you. It is still cheaper as a fan to attend a Fascar event than going to a movie.

This is part of why there are fewer fans in the stands. Because of people that have a negative attitude such as you.

Look you two, you both missed the point. Like I said, you are way too sensitive. I have absolutely no problem with Chad, or any of you. When I went all the time, I DID go in the pits, every night. You are right, I did help all the wrong people, except the last one, he's still a friend. Who by the way is another one that quit for reasons no one wants to listen to. Both NSS and OSW. I was not complaining about Chad, I was complaining about Tech. Hey, somepeople complain about soad, others complain about tech. And I was in tech the nit all this happened. I never said anything about oil on the track, I spoke of the others close to him couldnt see. The 2nd or 3rd place finisher told tech, i heard him. They laughed. I actually was applauding tech at OSW for being fair, fri night, even said it's an I improvement. Fair tech is what is greatly needed. So go ahead and bash me, I could care less.

Oh, Greg, another reason is because they got fed up with the favoritism that has gone on there in the past. IE. Just courious, how are the truck fields these days? This is why the track won't call any of these former car owners that got fed up too, they don't want to hear it. Maybe it's better now, likeIsaid I was applauding tech last fri. You say my attitude is why no one is in the stands, well yours is why no one that used to enjoy helping you no longer wants too.

It's more fun watching you rant and rave at someone that sees a problem. The fields were much better just 4-5 yrs ago, why, u figure it out.
