it was 1958 the first time i went there.
1968 was my first race i think.
triger was my hero. spent most of my time at the junkyard. Brown found us some work to do so we wouldit mess hes place up. if it ran on sunday was race day for us. brown would see the driveways tore up and have a fit.
old times... u had to be tough but i miss it.

Darren I'd rather not say, if you ever raced there you know how it went, she'd ban ya then call you 2 weeks later to come back and reduce the fine, it happened to almost everyone that raced there. Lets just say myself and Randy Warren were banned on the same night at the same time for the same thing, and Shane Rice wasn't far behind us, if I told you some of the stories between us three you'd never believe it unless you were there.

Were you at St. Pete the *afternoon* that Rusty Haugh (I think; it was the #02 Sportsman car) and Scotty Shelton got into it in the pits during practice? About four cars full of Pinellas County's finest showed up, they hauled off like 15 guys...LOL

Wow. I'll never forget that. Probably about the biggest at-the-track fight I'd ever seen in person before or since.

Randy drove our car (Late Model #12) for a while in the mid-'90s.
