i dont care what name people use... but if you notice, the ones who insult use fake names but so do some of our nicest posters. its all so silly in the scheme of life. i just dont think its right to insult people regardless of what name you use.

What kills me is if you don't like what is said, Karnac will delete/windex the post no matter if it is factual or not. I understand that this is a private site and their is no legal expectation of free speech, but also understand that it makes it very hard to lend credibility to the site as well.

There are very few sites that have never windexed a post, deleted a post, at one time or another. I use to write for a big website, nascar, and finally the owner took down the message board because it was misused, he had to monitor it way too much, etc. When we did advertise for tracks, they thought we should windex anything negative against them whether it was a valid post or not. By not advertising for any track, they can't make that call anymore. They can ask that something be taken down but they can't demand it as some did.

But there are very few websites that don't have to montior their boards and at one time or another, take something off. And I have written for many other sites besides karnac and I have seen this before. So we aren't the only site that has taken off posts.

Right or wrong, I don't know. But when you advertise for a track and something is said about that track that they feel is wrong or disturbing, they would want it deleted. That is one reason why we no longer advertise for any track so they don't have that hold. Also I don't believe in personal attacks and I admit some were deleted because they were personal and had nothing to do with racing at all.

So right or wrong, I don't know. Just the way it is.

Sorry my nads are in storage along with my cartilage. Maybe I will find them soon but I just hate being accused of things that I have not done. I have no ill-will towards anyone although I guess there is some against me for things I was suppose to have done. Sorry that I defended myself but it seems as I get older, I am more into that now than I use to be.
