Kinda funny, Jerry [Frasson118] posts a "real" post from a "real" blog and gets sent to the corner right away. This thread has been going on for weeks and has turned into a " who has the biggest pecker" contest and it's still here.......Kinda makes you think that it doesn't matter what you say on here, just as long as you are friends with whomever is in charge..JMHO.

I noticed the same thing. It just doesn't make any sense does it? In actuality, Jerry's post was a critique and not a complaint. This thread has been primarily complaining and name calling. However, I think it should go to the comics corner.

What happened in tech. Three dq's? What were they dq'ed for? I heard they all had cheater cams. Yes I said CHEATER cams. A cheat... One that intentionally runs a cam out of spec to give themselves an advantage that they wouldn't possess otherwise. They should take all the wins away from each truck for the entire year. Way to go tech.

Was he legal? Just facts ,if you must pm me remember I lost,had my jaw broken, wired shut, I am a coward, snake in the grass,will be turned into wall in the first lap, and my trailer tire(s) are flat,{ha ha tiresmok} AND been beat down by a woman.

i wasn't thinking about it. i just hit "New Posts" at the top of the page and don't often pay any attention to what post is in which particular sub-forum. you're right though, this was a complaint thread from the get-go.

The 20 truck (at least) got dq'd for illegal cam. The engine builder was told to call someone that has NOTHING to do with tech and explain to him how the cam was illegal. Ok, now listen carefully to my comment, I do not want to have more lies said about what I say. Why have "crate" motors when they are not sealed? If the track makes the rules they are responsable for enforcement. Its their rules. Does NASCAR make rules and then tell the competitors to enforce them? Has anyone heard of a NASCAR team "tearing down" another competitor? Or any sport regulate itself"" Maybe, i just dont know of any. People say the competitors should tear down each other, maybe, but where do you find an impartial shop to tear them down. If someone pd big bucks to "cheat up" a crate motor, and then get asked to tear it down does anyone really think they will be fair? I don't have the answer, but the problem IS spoiling the car count . I doubt if the track has a list of the competitors from say just 5 yrs back, but if they do I would love to have it, call everyone of them, and of the ones alive and healthy, I guarantee over 50% of them will say they stopped racing because of lack of inforcement of rules. Which translates to not being able or willing to buy these cheater parts. Maybe these car owners should be called and ask why they are not racing anymore. I have a friend who raced Mods at NNN and Orlando almost every week, he gave it up, has anyone from the track called him? no! He sold all his FL mod stuff and is building a N.E. Maod, just for speedweeks and to take to So. Carolina once in a while. Pretty sad, nice track right here in town and he's gonns race in So. Carolina. Why? Mp point, someone should ask him. Maybe the track should tear down random cars/trucks each week. maybe a couple, have the drivers draw pills, the highest and lowest # gets torn down. If they are found illegal, the car owner pays for the tear down, if legal, they win a pot. Maybe there should be $5 "tear down" fee charged to each car owner and whoever gets torn down and is legal gets the kitty to at least buy gasket etc to put it back together. At least ck. a head, valve diam, cam lift and duration bore and stroke. cant be all that hard. Again, this would be done at random, with some kind of lottery determining which cars are torn down. Of coarse a CLEAN well lit room would have to be provided, maybe there is one. Just a thought, but as long as the track thinks the racers are going to enforce the rules, it wont happen, heck they cant even buy gas and tires now.

normally, when this is said it's a colloquial expression meaning that you should put up the protest fee and have the track tear your opponent down.

i agree that crate motors and "Florida spec" late model motors being sent to "certified builders" for a tear down has screwed this up though.
