    Benny the Mule:

Sorry dude.your car lacks the components and especially tires to get it through the corner fast enough to get it to 92 MPH at the end of the straight...................unless it has, like, 600 HP or something.

    And i doubt that.

    Your speedo is tricking you.

...and you maybe right.? but what I do know is that I got a bone stock car. Im running a 3:08 gear and im running it in 2nd the tach says 5500 and the speedo read just over 90 mph. I had a t-bird at NSS enduro. and the speedo that race read 85 so it cant be to far off

A complaint I have about the tech guys is the fact that they let the top finishers slid through tech. Two weeks about the top two in super stocks were found with small converters and were told to just change it, and when people asked why they told everyone it was up to them if a person would be disqualified for a rules infraction. To me it seems like just another example of favoritism , but that's just my opinion.

Hey Tyler.... Did you happen to catch what kind of converters they were... Let's see, 2 weeks ago (3-28) at NSS... That would be Scott Smith and Bobby Holley isn't it.. I do know for a fact that the 3rd Place car (R. Goodrich, #86) was clean and legal.

          Have a great morning all....

It would have been the week before that, and the cars were the 01 and 16. From what all of us that were standing there could tell they were 10'' converters, I'm not sure if there TCI's or anything like that. They were told to change them and get loaded up for the night that they got a free pass. I really love racing in this division but I hate that they let certain people get by with this kind of stuff and that the top two run and buy new tires every night. I guess that's just the name of the game tho.

              well

They didn't last night, if you weren't there, the Super Stock race was won by a newcomer to the division with new car that fits the division rules.... He beat the 01 in a tight to the Finish race.... I have to give cudos to Smith in the 01 he raced a good, clean, decent race...

It started out to be a decent car count, but several cars either blew up or had to pull out due to mechanicals... The 01 and the 86 fought tooth and nail for the whole race.... Have a great day all....

Look me up next time you are at NSS... I am always in the NE side of the Infield... You can't miss us down there...

              Have a great day all

                Tech Guys

Sounds like every other class to me. BUT, Really, Tech is a tough job. 'This guy has this, this guy has that" Plus, they have a boss too. Oh, did I say they get paid almost nothing?? Many things "get by" Tech in our class, (trucks) but after all is said and done, I wouldn't trade places with any of them. If tech went strictly by the "rule book", the car count would drop at least 50%. Thats why the book says its at the techs descretion if you get dq"d. If they dq'd everyone on every infraction, R. Hart would fire all of them. Look how the engine and shock rules got screwed up in the truck division. I wouldnt trade jobs with any of the techs. Now, some track officials? I won't go there!
