I have 4 metric cars that have not been touched.

are any of them FULL SIZED? remember, you're the one mouthing off about being legal by the FASCAR rule book, so you're the one who's going to be held to the FASCAR rule book.

NO A-Body or G-Body car meets the "Full Size" requirement.

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_G_platform_(RWD)
"The General Motors G platform (also called G-body) was an automobile platform designation used for mid-sized rear wheel drive cars from 1982 to 1988. G-Bodies began production designated as GM A platform (RWD) cars in 1978, but were redesignated to G when the GM A platform (FWD) was introduced in 1982."

B-Body or larger is what you're going to have to get ahold of:

Talked to Butch Perice tonight , He said he was now going to start letting the unibody cars run at NSS this weekend. He also said that the smaller cars like the probes must have at least a roll over bar and two down bars to run. But no 4 bangers!

I was told the reason they are not doing points for strictly stock is so that strictly stock drivers would not have to buy a license."Trying to save you guys money" was the exact statement that Kim gave me. If that was the case, why couldn't they give points licensed or not? Since the class is for trophy only in made it more fun to run for points. It also gives the low budget "BROKE" guys a reason to go to fascar banquet, to a champion, rookie of the year. I know myself I built my car just to run for points.

so now they're trying to encourage Strictly Stock drivers not to come to the track?

                FASCAR license is $75.

                regular pit pass is $25.

FASCAR discount pit pass is $20.

Strictly Stocks are on the schedule for 29 weeks just at OSW.

                you do the math.

                now add nights at NSS.

anybody who intends to be in the pits most weeks will get a license anyways, but now the Strictly guys have lost the point fund benefit. *sigh*

                  Just to Make it Clear

I have never told anyone that the reason we were not doing points for Strictly Stocks is so they don't have to get a license. What I have told people is that Strictly Stocks are not going to be required to have a license because they are not running for points. I would encourage the ones who are racing every week to have a license because, as Todd pointed out, you do save the $5.00 weekly so the license will eventually pay for itself. By the way thanks to all you guys who came and ran this weekend! Have a great week and if you all need anything, don't hesitate to call.

Sorry Kim maybe I misunderstood what you said. So why are strictly stock not running for point this year? To me and some others that that half the fun see who was on top after every week, It also helps for car count.

lets do the math for the other 4 major divisons that run 15 total nights at Orlando Speedworld

15*25 =375 (without pit pass) 1st and 2nd week cost me 20.00 because of last years license. So actually gonna cost me 365 this year.

                      15*20 =300 + (75 Fascar License) =375

I think someone can not do simple math

                      can you see any savings???????
You don't save crap. Only good for points

                        can you see any savings???????

ah yes. no one was planning on going into the pits more than 15 times all year long at any combination of OSW and NSS race dates.

                        29 race dates at OSW
                        39 race dates at NSS
68 race nights over the season

subtract, oh, ~5 from each track for rain dates makes 58 actual competition nights.

as you so astutely note ( and then immediately fail to understand the consequences of ) 15 race dates is the break point. if you don't want to buy a FASCAR license then just plan on entering the pits less than 25% of the race nights all season long.

BTW? you did it the hard way.

                        $75 = price of license
$5 per night is your benefit

75 / 5 = 15 weeks to break even on the license. you attend less than 15 weeks and you wasted your money, you attend more than 17-18 weeks ( allowing for loss of interest and other opportunity costs ) and you're making out.

don't bother trying to read the rule book, it's well beyond you.

speaking of rule books, you've got two different guys begging to put up money if you'll show up at OSW. why have you gotten so quiet about that?

backdoor we are talking about super stocks and strickly stocks dumba$$...can you not read!(classes that run every week at both tracks) and if you got enough money to run a "major class" as you like to say, whats another 80 dollars to ya? if you run every week it saves alot .fascar did a good job of making it where you can run at both track for less.instead of waking up at the crack of dawn to change a gear sat. morning and set-up after racing at osw to go race at nss now you can run for points at both and only race once a week

Let me say again 15 races this year. Not 29 or 30. So I will not get any savings. Let me save 25- 30 and Ill buy a license. Until then shut your traps if you have no clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
