Do you want 12 MILLION illegal immigrants (soon to be legal if left up to the democrats) to be able to collect social security that have only paid into it a short amount of time and not their entire lives like the rest of us? If so, then you need your voting privileges revoked.

The letter from Lee Iacocca was actually copied from another web site that I was reading. As I was reading it, it described how I am feeling. It may have been a mass e-mail as it should be. Many may not like John McCain but HE WILL PROTECT OUR COUNTRY AND OUR RIGHTS AS AMERICANS. If you dont like that I will be happy to escort you and any other anti-American to the nearest border.

actually i was not referring to the candidates or parties. what i was agreeing with is what the resposibilities of the American people are. what we should be doing to bring our country together. truth being known i do not trust either candidate.
Barack "said" he didnt believe in late term abortions yet he signed the Pro choice bill which does not separate early or late term. if he didnt believe in it he should not have signed it. (am i wrong?) im not sure.
i dont believe in abortion at all but in the case of tragedy i can understand removing any chance in the cell stages. no pain, no heart, no brain, ....
i cant help how i feel. i think too many women are using abortion as birth control instead of preventing pregnancy...
i can go on until forever about pregnancy, teens, abortion, prevention, etc. but it would not solve anything. my opinion in the big scheme of things does not matter at all. it doesnt even matter on this message board.

I was just trying to present the truth. The article you posted was not what Lee Iacocca wrote. If you read the real entire article, that Iacocca actually wrote, you will find it's anti-Bush and even compliments Joe Biden for his questioning of Bush.

As for abortion, I believe O'bama voted for a bill that left the question up to the States. IMO, abortion is one of those hot button issues that the Republicans don't really want changed. If abortion was outlawed it would take away one of their prime campaigning issues. In the last 28 years Republicans have held office 20 of them. There has not been a change in abortion law with them in power. Why would that change now?

BTW, I have been a registered Republican for most of my adult life. That does not mean I will only vote for them. I just want to know the truth about things. I am constantly berated with anti-Obama email. When I look for verification I find it is almost always inaccurate. I find it ironic that I haven't received any anti-McCain email. There are issues in his past that could hurt him but they haven't been brought out. I guarantee if he was black with a name that sounded like it was middle eastern, they would have been.

I was just trying to present the truth. The article you posted was not what Lee Iacocca wrote. If you read the real entire article, that Iacocca actually wrote, you will find it's anti-Bush and even compliments Joe Biden for his questioning of Bush.

He is just like the rest of us and upset at the mistakes that have been made. It is what Lee Iacocca wrote, I have read several articles on it. I have read the entire article several times on several different sites and I intend on reading the book as well. I will compliment Biden too for questioning Bush. Maybe he should have questioned him before we got into this mess. As far as the truth are you referring to the topic about illegals? If you read closely I wrote that myself with a touch of sarcasm.
