YES this is a mass e-mail full of facts. I have checked them and edited some of the Bs out. Those that complain about mass e-mails, GET OVER IT! Those that are for gun control, look at what is happening in Australia!

All of these cases the people believed that this could never happen to them. Remember the Roman empire didnt last forever either.

What the hell is wrong with this country. We keep letting all these freaking people in our country and let them make laws for us. Wake the hell up!




A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953,
About 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. ------------------------------

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total
Of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by
new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their
own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500
million dollars. The first year results are now in:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2%
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6%
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44%
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300%. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in
armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the
past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is
unarmed. There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public
safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens
save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws =0 A adversely affect
only the law-abiding citizens. The next time someone talks in favor of
gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.

With guns, we are 'citizens'.

Without them, we are 'subjects'.

After being a witness to what the Viet Cong and NVA did to villagers without guns in Viet-Nam.......Don't give up your guns. When we started giving captured weapons to the villagers they would not allow themselves to be victims anymore. It made our job easier too. We only had to fight the polititians then..
It is not safe in Miami unless you carry a gun. Thats why I left.

I can understand making sure someone has some proper training with guns so they understand proper safety.
Removing guns is not educating.
I have sent my wife through 2 different safety classes and that achieved a few different things.
SAFETY and self confidence. She has never even held a gun until we met. She is now comfortable handling them safely and effectively and will be carrying one for personal protection very soon.

The most effective gun control would be stiffer penalties for crimes with guns.

If a gun control was passed we'd just push people out of windows, stab, hit with a car, beat with a club........... and unfortunately the thugs would run rampant.

Guns don't kill people..people kill people.That gun is a mindless inanimate object until in the hand of a person..........it can't fire itself and when fired it does as it's designed...to send a projectile at a high rate of speed.

im a gun totin granny now....

this year is my first as a gun owner. and i bet if every single citizen had a gun in their possession, every single criminal would think twice before committing a crime against them.

you people are 100% right. guns are inanimate objects incapable of causing harm...UNTIL they are put in the hands of dangerous people or people who are uneducated in their proper and safe use. an ignorant person with a gun might as well be unarmed!.

i do agree that the laws need to be stiffer and they need to be firmly upheld.
I also agree that children need to be protected from harm by keeping guns in a safe place.

its sad that we have to think like this. as for hunting...i see nothing wrong with shooting any animal with intent to feed people with the meat. that is the ONLY reason anyone should be able to "hunt"...as for a dangerous animal with intentions to harm you, your family, and yes, even your beloved pet...shoot it! i dont care if its within 5 yards of a house or if its a protected alligator. i would not hesitate for a split second to do what is necessary to protect my loved ones.

i personally think that they have more laws to protect and defend violent criminals than they do to protect victims!

Thats all.... i am a gentle decent person who would not hurt anyone...UNLESS YOU THREATEN MY LOVED ONES!...

As law abiding citizens, the only permit we should need is OUR 2nd ammendment right. Everyone needs to watch the video that Fourhigh posted. It is our duty as law abiding citizens to vote the "leftwing" wackos out of office and take OUR country back. I'm not talking about all Dems. Just those that are trying their best to destroy our constitution and seemingly our country too.

Barrack and all the others that want your guns know all this stuff. The scary part is they do not care. They are all about government intervention in every facet of our lives! Us being unarmed will make it easier to do what they want to do!

I am going out in a few hours and practice some of "my" gun control.

Right now more than ever with us becoming more socialist by the minute, We need to remember as Americans how we got here in the first place!

remember one thing about guns

there is nothing and i mean nothing wrong with owning a gun or guns i do feel sorry that ever one that is mentally stable does not own one . i think there would be less home invasion if the person that was breaking into your home knew he was entering a home of a person that owned a gun and could place all his shots in a group as small as a silver dollar lets just say 100 feet away

there is a place that ever one can go to pratice if you own one you ought to know how to use it if you can't shoot good then buy a 12 gauge shot gun and know a good carpenture . and make sure your family is inthe other room under the bed when the burgular knocks your door down . keep your guns locked and away from children and put up get good gun safe get abig one they hold more guns and remember allways have one you can get to quick

as the times get tough you are going to need one trust me

i dont understand your note to me... ;-) i didnt start the posts but i added my 5 cents as usual... rofl... i am all for every decent law abiding American to own and be able to carry a gun. i am stern in believing they should go to a range and learn all the responsibilities of that privilege. they should know the range their gun can hit, how to clean and maintain, and what their weapon is capable of. years ago i fired a 22 long nose at what i thought was nothing. a friend really scared the crud out of me telling me the bullet could travel 1 mile!!! i have no idea where the damn thing landed and to this day i wonder in fear...no bodies were found so i probably hit a tree.... that was a lesson i will NEVER forget.
another time i was holding a gun for my husband. i didnt move at all and the thing went off... it was aimed at the dirt but ..........well those are things ive learned from... owning a gun is a HUGE responsibility... and i really dont think it is that easy to shoot someone and be able to live with that decision. here i go again...babbling...but my mind just lets loose when i start thinking of something. sorry...
