This week Real Racin USA takes race fans out to the midwest to visit with the Vice President of Operations for Iowa Speedway, the new racing palace of Rusty Wallace.
Iowa Speedway is set to open for its very first racing activities this weekend. The USAR Hooters ProCup kicks things off on Friday night with the first of the six race Championship Series for 2006.
Also scheduled is Crew Chief for the Billy Ballew Motorsports, Ritchie Wauters. The team was founded in 1996. Kyle Busch and Jeremy Mayfield drive part time for team, and Kevin Grubb was named the driver for the No. 15 Chevrolet Silverado in the Craftsman Truck Series in July. The team frequently runs two trucks, the 15 and the 51.
Rick and Susan Auriemma, owners of Fast Times Productions, A florida baed racing video company will join us live in the studio. Prominent Florida sprint car racer Greg Leonard will make an appearance with Jack, Bill and Rick and the rest of the Short Track America gang, live from the Snook River Grill in Bradenton, Florida.
Several other guests, which we always like to keep as a bit of a surprise, will be with us as we broadcast live around the world via the Internet.
The Short Track America Network presents the Real Racin USA show each Tuesday evening live from the Snook River Grill 7-9 PM. The public is invited, the menu is great and drivers or others involved in motorsports are always welcome as guests on the show, or to just hang out and meet other racers in a relaxed laid back social setting.
Real Racin USA is not a starchy, uptight politically correct motorsports show, we are about having fun, which after all is what sports is supposed to be, fun.
