ARCA Lights Up USA International in Inaugural Event

March 26, 2007

jamesbuescher.jpgThe line up for this week’s edition of Real Racin’ USA is nothing short of spectacular. The top stars from ARCA series first show ever from Florida’s finest short track, USA International Speedway, will be on hand to relive a very exciting race. Saturday night the local Florida guys gave it their all, came very close to winning but the big prize went to James Buescher of Plano, Texas.

Buescher, celebrating his seventeenth birthday today, out ran Bryan Clauson for the win. Clauson is a seventeen year old sprint car driver from Indiana who was running his very first stock car race. Both these young guns will join hosts Rick Anges, Bill Green and Jack Smith to talk about the awesome experience of their first ARCA race.

Johnny Jackson, most well know for his local racing at DeSoto Super Speedway, had quite a day, finishing 8th in the ARCA event on the 3/4 USA International Speedway. Jackson and family will join us live at the Snook River Grill along with along with Attorney James Carter. Carter is a Marketing Rep for both Jackson and Mario Gosselin.

Gosselin thrilled local fans with his run from the rear to the front, only to have the gremlins bite him yet again. Mario has won on the ARCA tour and looked like he might again on Saturday until a left front tire went down in the late stages. Mario will also be a guest on Tuesday night.

Wayne Anderson of Wildwood, Florida finished third Saturday night. Anderson is a former All Pro Champ, veteran of the old ASA series, Craftsman Trucks and a driver who has made a few Cup races on a very limited budget. Wayne is part of the line up for Tuesday, so if you have any questions for this short track super star, e-mail them to info@realracinusa.com

Five Flags Speedway is now owned by the Bryant Family and Tim Bryant will join Real Racin’ USA in the second hour. We will try to keep his excitement toned down. The announcement was made this week and is huge good news for race fans from the Florida Panhandle, Alabama and Georgia. Improvements to the historic speedway, home of the annual Snowball Derby, can now be scheduled, as the track’s future is no longer in limbo.

In other news, Short Track America in conjunction with KARNAC.com will broadcast the ASA Late Model race on June 23rd Live on the Internet from New Smyrna Speedway. The ASA is a hot bed for young talent these days and the competition level should be at a roaring boil by late June. Short Track America will roll out the weekly ASA show, the “ASA Fast Lane” in mid April. Short Track America and KARNAC.com will be covering the ASA extensively throughout the 2007 racing season with reporters at all the Southern Division races and many of the Challenge Series events.

Next week Real Racin’ USA will focus on Georgia Stock Car Racing with interviews with drivers and promoters from across the Peach State.
