Monday night the “Inside Florida Racing” team of Racin’ Jason Beckner, “Bonehead Rob Elting and Carol Wicks (she hates nicknames) will spend the entire two hours of the show with race promoter Don Nerone.
Fans, drivers and others are encouraged to call in ask Florida’s most veteran promoter questions about the sports and business of racing. The call in lines are 941-423-7104 and 941-228-8359.
Nerone, currently heading up the seven FASCAR traveling shows, has been promoting motorsports events in Florida and around the U.S. for over 25 years. In the last decade he has been most involved in revitalizing late model racing and bringing special “crash and burn” type shows to stock car venues.
Not everyone of course agrees with the “Nerone philosophy”, but even his most outspoken critics of his methods usually profess respect for him. This Monday evening Don Nerone will take your calls, so sharpen up your wit. You will need it when you tackle the “Don”.
