need desoto gear for ford mod mini

Need a desoto gear for ford mod mini, 863 - 651 - 4267. Anybody know the tranny/gear setup. currently set up for auburndale wanna go run desoto.

When I ran there a couple years ago in mod mini, i ran a 308 rear gear. But not sure which tranny i ran. Either a 2.14 which give you a 6.59 ratio. Or a 1.97 that gives you a 6.06 ratio.

Run 214 w/300 trans that will give u a 642 final. You should tach about 7500-8000 with that.

Jeremy, a 1.97 and a 325 or a 2.14 and a 300. 640ish is where you want to be. I have an extra 2.14. Look up Fireball Maguire....he has some 8" stuff. I wouldn't run a stock rod/piston engine down there, that place is HUGE and you hold a high RPM for a long period of time. Just a word for the wise. The track is also rougher than the morning after drinking a cheap bottle of liquor. Bring it up to Citrus and run it, you will race against far more cars and the wear and tear on your equipment is considerably less.

Yeah I got a 2.14 in the car now, and a 342 rear. Ran 7600 at auburndale. How big is citrus?
