Dodge Daytona 2.2 Performance Parts

The short story is I want a long tube header for the 2.2/2.5 prefering the 1.75/3" over the 1.5"/2.5".

First this is a kind of a long shot, I am from Northern NY and there aren't many people racing the old 2.2/2.5's up here but seem to be a numbe rdown there around Florida. We have an 89 Daytona we run and they are allowing more mods this year so I am looking for some performance parts. Being so far away they would need to be shipped so bare that in mind, I am looking for 14x7 or maybe 8" rims with the 5x100 mm pattern (they are going to Hoosier 790 tires) (shipping might be prohibitive on these not sure) and are allowing headers. I am also open to heads/head parts/cams. I run Fuel Injection (whether you agree or like it or not LOL) so don't need carbs or carb intakes / ignition.

Having a turbo car I know them and they specialize in turbo stuff no NA headers there, hoping someone might have some used NA stuff or leftover stuff.

yea trust me I know how hard it is ti find 2.2 parts I think headman makes a header for the non turbo my car has header but it was on it when I got it sorry I cant be more help

No thats fine, there are some parts out there, the funny thing is that I figure that these were really popular at one point and a lot of race parts went someplace, sad part is a probably a lot went to the scrap yard. Hedman made the 1 3/4" primaries & 3" collector header but don't make it anymore that I can tell, Hooker still makes theirs but it is 1 1/2 with a 2.5" collector more street than race.

If I had more money than brains came across these:
IMSA 2.2L/2.5L Dodge long block 8 valve engines, 4 avalible $2,800 each
They also say they have a bunch of other stuff too I'll have to give em a call.

I got a brand new original direct connection header but it does still have the 1 1/2 primaries and also picked up bathtub head with +1 mm valves in it so i have a start, anyone have any used 14x8 rims with the 5x100 pattern? I can find new at $70 each but some cheaper used would be helpful in brinbging this car closer to reality.

I am still looking for 2.5 performance parts if anyone has any to sell, would like a head that is maybe mor eredady to go?? (big valkve porting, lots of milling, cam etc.) I alos need a cam(s) anything else you might have??

Anyone got any parts as the season winds down they want to diverge of? I gaurentee I won't be coming to Florida to us ethem against you...LOL.

Evfen small parts are good, Cams, Valve springs, etc. whole motor would be prohibitive to ship I'm sure.

Even advice is appreciated, besides don't get into racing...to late

Sorry hadn't been on in a while, unfortunately I am in NY so coming to get a car is a little out tehre, and I aquired 2 headers a Direct connection small tube street and then also scored a big tube IMCA header to put on.
