97 F-350 XLT 7.3TD Crew Cab 2WD Long Bed

Just testing the market for now,getting a rough Idea what I can get for it..Not sure I want to sell. I tow a 5Th wheel camper a couple of times a year. Kids are grown up and I am thinking about selling the crew cab and get a regular cab. The 7.3 turbo diesel only has 197000mi on it and overall the truck is fairly clean. Cap and running boards are gone. Thanks

I'm not sure, these 97 F350 crew cab diesels are hard to find. When I was shopping for one 6 years ago they were mostly rusted out or been off-road too much. If it was in perfect condition they sell for close to 10,000. This truck is not, a few scratches and minor dents but runs strong and mechanically solid everything works. Clearly I don't want 10,000 but it is still a good truck. like I said the kids are grown and I want a regular cab. I would think about 6,500 as-is.... The truck is in Florida , I'm open to reasonable offers..Thanks

You will hate a regular cab. Especially for towing (longer wheelbase is more stable). And you will miss the extra space. If you do get another one, get at least a extended cab.
