What gear with 2.14 and 8 inch rear for 2300 pinto?

Well first off I would not run a 214 Tranny. 197 is the tranny to run with a 308 gear.

Lucky 6 is correct...however if you are looking to run third gear in your tranny the 1.97 second gear tranny is a 1.37 third gear....combine that with a 4.62 rear will net you 6.32 final. I turned 7800 at OSW with that combo. Just a thought. BTW I have a spare 4.62 third member for a 8 inch locked with a mini spool.

Any idea about what tranny to run in a dodge? We were wanting to come race there but only have a 634.

well I guess I'm lost because one person says a final gear of 606 turns 7700 to 8000 and one says a 632 turns 7800 what would a 642 turn?

sorry misread the 632 was at Orlando are the two the same?

You can run the same gear at both Orlando and Full Throttle. Orlando is just a bit smaller but not much. 197 trans and a 308 gear
