sbc 400 connecting rods

looking at a set of sbc 400 connecting rods..Lunati makes a spacer bearing to use thes rods on a 2.00 crankshaft..has everyone have any info on if these
spacer bearings are good for race motor?? thansk

I seen people use them and it worked it was for a street stock but I have never tryed it

I have a complete 400 -60 over short block needs rebuilt $300.00 stock rods cast pistons 407-467-3677

Hey Man Ive been building enginesand racing for a very long time.Do yourself a big favor and dont ever use a jumper or spacer bearing.Will it work yes cause they make them.Will it last most deffinatly NOT!!!!.. It is a shortcut that will always fail eventually sometimes on startup then your back to square one and out of money. Some companys offer a bearing that is thicker to makeup distance much better than a jumper or spacer.But with so many cheap aftermarket options out there . Do it the right way and not shortcut it and you will be much happier .Good Luck i your endevers
