Hey I have a sportsman with a 602 crate, 9" rearend whats a good gear for New Smyrna?

I used to run a 5.14 or a 5.29

602 wont hold up to them gears. 4.71 is turning a 602 crate motor fast my buddy runs a 4.56 at nss in his sportsman with a 602 the 96 timmy morton. if you had a built motor 5.14 or 5.29

That was with a 30 over with flat top pistons with 461 heads,turned 7000 all day long with no trouble.

yeah built motors can handel it crate cant for some reason
