Dillon serial number

I have a an old Dillon chassis, serial 849. Found a plate under the dash. It has a place for the date, but it's not stamped.
It looks like a 5th design Howe , as the front A frames off a Howe bolted right up.
I was wondering what year it was made. It is being restored as a race ready show car, early 80's vintage.

if its like an old 5th desighn car its probabsly somewhere in the 80's 84-88 would be my guess

Thanks, I was guessing 83-84. Forgot to mention it is a perimeter car, and the frame rails look to be 14 guage. They are thick! It's sat on the ground for years and there's no thin rusty spots. And it had a fiberglass seat.
