It's large journal 2 pc rms, has chamfered bearings already installed on mains. It is a 2 bolt but my experience with the 014 blocks is they are .020 thicker than a 010 block so therefore are much stronger. It can easily handle 700hp and 8000 rpm, we have used them for years and never had a problem. There is no need for splayed caps because all your doing is taking meat away from the mains, which I don't like. If you wanted some extra support you could run a main stud girdle.
