361 cid ford out of a '74 f-700 truck

I've never heard of one before, I don't know how rare it is, but thats what the valve cover label says from ford. 29000 orig. miles. We're scraping the truck so engine and trans is for sale until we're done then it's goin too.

361 ford

that is a slightly bored out 352 "fe" ford engine...the light pickups had a 360 and they called the medium duty engines 361 to separate them from the pick up motors...the only difference is yours has a forged crank where light duty ones had a cast crank...the forged crank has a larger diameter snout so can't be used in a high performance car engine unless turned down...hope that helps
