Yea and $4-500 dollar cars usually run in the BACK!!

no they dont . this is a rookie or beginner class . most race for no payout or points . some tracks have claim rules that average around $ 500 - $ 600 . to spend any more than the claim amount is foolish ( your going to lose it if and when car is claimed )and detrimental to the class because spending that kind of money equals cheated up racecars and loss of car count . this class was designed to be super cheap and affordable for the first time racer to experience driving a racecar . a $200 -$300 piece of junk and a $200 cage with $100 of safety equipment is $600 max . if you have that much in a hornet thats your fault . its not needed or necessasary . it only serves to hurt the class and the whole concept of a beginner class .

Well you ain't gonna win any of the $1000 to win races @ BRP in any $400 car I can tell ya!!If your not ATLEAST getting your entry fee back your racing @ the wrong track.Theres no doubt this class is out of hand,but if you want to WIN you gotta build a NEWER car,plain and simple...I tried running 4-5 hundred dollar cars and couldn't beat the newer ones.Anyhow,putting a GOOD/SAFE cage in one of these things is gonna cost ATLEAST $400,not counting the price of the car,seat,belts,window net,ect.Lets get real here.Sure you can buy some unsafe $400 P.O.S. if you don't care about safety.Let me know when somebody that buys one of these $400 P.O.S. gets to victory lane in it!!Bottom line is alot of people are on here looking for people to give they're stuff away for peanuts when they know they can't build em that cheap.And I don't know where your racing but I have NEVER saw a car claimed where we race.It just doesn't happen cause guys know what will happen to them if they claim a car when they come back...

my car is safe i run 3rd both race i ran its a class to learn how to drive we are fighting just to get people in that class money is tight these days to race we get 25 for our class we cant have bars threw our cars to build them like the mini stocks 400 is all people going to pay for them u get a 2000 dollar car take is out and some one wreck u your 2000 dollar car is done fuck that

thats where ur wrong i had 2 cars that i paid 400 for and then 500 for and they would have smoked anything u got and they were very safe i flipped 5 and a half times and just walked away and 1500 to 2000 for a bomber car is rediculous doubt yall ever get that but good luck

Let me know when you build a GOOD/SAFE 4cyl.for less than $500 cause I'm gonna buy it.We know what wins where we race and it sure as hell ain't any of that older junk like they run @ Eastbay.Like the man said if you want to try out racing go buy a $400 car.ANYBODY that knows anything about the class knows your going to spend more than that if you want to WIN!!

i had a 96 kia that ran door to door with the eco techs and the neons and i paid 500 and it was on of the safest and best cages out there that aint no bull shit
