Car is a 98 model Escort ZX-2 This car was built with 100% safety in mind. 4 door bars on both sides w/ bracing front and rear under the hood and deck lid. Has a Kirkey Big Boy seat w/ cover and the seat rail is adjustable front to back. Impact 3" belts. Battery reloated to the LH side behind driver in a marine box. Quick-Car battery master cutoff located on the RH side next to seat. Fan is switched also. Has switch for ignition but currently started with a key. Car was run 5 times, 3 on dirt, 1 on an asphalt oval, and once on a road coarse. Has removable lexan windshield. Brake light mounted on the back for the RC but is easily removed. I have 1 set of 13x7 wheels w/ bad tires for asphalt and 1 set of 15x6.5" wheels for dirt w/ good tires for dirt. Also have a couple of spares for dirt. Ran fine last time I raced but now it starts and runs good but won't idle. There are also a couple more goodies. Again, I built this car with 100% safety in mind. There are other cars cheaper than this but I assure you there are none safer. And in this class, safety should come first and foremost. Sorry. I edited the ad to include a price, I guess it just didn't take. I am asking 1350.00 for the car. May seem high for a 4cyl box, but I can assure you that you will not find one any better built for safety. Also, for some reason it will not allow me to post pics.
