Howe/Hamke ASA Chassis as used by Michael Waltrip Racing.
I just stripped the drivetrain, body etc from this racer to use in another project.
This chassis uses the Howe ASA perimeter center section (as all did)
with the front and rear clips built by Nascar car builder Robert Hamke.
Set up for LS1 or SBC, wheelbase was run with the 105" Fivestar Monte Carlo ASA body.
We have converted three of these types to the new Howe Camaro's as run in V8 StockCar and Trans Am 2.
Built out with the LS motors these weigh less than 2500 lbs minus driver.
