Rockingham, NC (AHN) - Since being abandoned by NASCAR three years ago, the future of Rockingham's North Carolina Speedway has been a subject of much conjecture.
ARCA Series champion Andy Hillenburg purchased the racing monument for the price of $4.4 million.
"We're hoping to have a positive impact on the folks of Rockingham and Richmond County and make a difference in the sport that has been good to all of us,'' said Rockingham. "We have big plans for the track and announcements will follow in the immediate future."
