Rob Elting and CC Brooks, veteran radio personalities in South Florida, return with a few friends in the studio and some very special guests this Monday night.
It is time for the 42nd Annual Florida Governors Cup. The race has been given special coverage on www.karnac.com since 1998 and has a special section of the site devoted to the race and it's history. There are photo galleries, audio interviews and some very special features.
This race will be a major focus as Rob and CC fire up the mics at 7 PM Monday night. Guests Dick Anderson (won in 1988-89), Wayne Anderson (won in 1999 and 2003) will be featured along with Don Nerone. Don probably was more responsible than anyone in bringing the Cup back to its former status as a major event. Jeff Choquette, who stunned the late model world with his surprise victory in 2004, will hopefully be able to join Rob and CC Monday night.
Choquette will be driving the 92 of Dick Anderson.....Wayne Anderson will be in the familiar 84 with Patrick Williams in the spotters stand.
